The 25 most idiotic questions for Airline Manager. Yes I know there is an official FAQ, and yes I know there is a "people's FAQ" that answers these questions, however, the answers I gave for the forum version were done with a great deal of restraint. The answers given offered some degree of information that can be construed as "helpful". The following are the same EXACT questions...with the answers that I would actually want to give...i would think these answers are ones that anyone would want to give...but won't, they'd only be removed by the "board janitors" which is fine...the existence of moderation on the forum is the entire reason for this blog's existence...and i'm ok with that...because what goes up here...can not be deleted.
To the reader:
The following is a list of stupid fucking questions, actual questions that have been asked on the boards...these questions may have been re-worded so that they made actual fucking sense...but the message is the same. This list is written in honor of all of the people that "troll" the boards wanting to help someone that's worth helping. This list is meant to entertain...do not under any circumstances attempt the solutions offered. The answers contained are in no way supposed to assist anyone with the progression of their game in Airline Manager...that being said...should you actually attempt any of the following...you're a fucking moron.
On to the questions:
Q1: "How can I get more pax points?"
A1: What kind of a fucking question is this? you can EARN them or you can BUY them. you can EARN them simply by playing this game...nothing more. There isn't a certain aircraft or a certain route...there isn't a certain time or certain hub...it's fucking random...PAX POINTS are not required to play this game...they are bait to take your fucking money and feed the developer...you want a business jet...the dev wants pizza...you want an extra 100 routes...the dev wants cable TV...it's give and take...you give your money to the dev and he takes it. The idea is that you BUY them...but if you want to be a cheapskate fucktard and get something for nothing...you won't be getting the "something" very fast.
Q2: "Can we make/form alliances?"
A2: What? you mean like "make teams?" are you incapable of attaining success on your own? or do you feel that you're "dev's gift to the AM community" and have some "secret strategy" to "win" this game that you feel makes you a desirable teammate? Just like in grade school...no one wants to be your friend...no one wants you on their team...you're not wanted...it's not that no one likes you...it's just everyone hates you...period There's no reason to have teams because no one actually needs help playing this game...anything you can do I can do...and probably better and faster. This game can not be won...so there is no competition, there isn't one possible reason why alliances make any fucking sense in a game that has no competition. Shut up no there isn't a reason...not one.
Q3: "My aircraft and route is listed in "RED" what do i do now?"
A3: A route/aircraft shown in "RED" indicates an overbooked flight...this represents a surge in demand that you should counterbalance by adding a second aircraft to that route. If you already have 3 red routes between Points A and B...you then need to create another route in the opposite direction "B to A" when you have 6 total flights between two points you need to upgrade the aircraft. once you have 6 a380s between two points that route is maxed out.
Q4: "How many stocks can i buy/sell?"
A4:I have no idea...but why the FUCK do i care what stocks you buy or sell...you've got a shit company that isn't worth the daily paper and you're of the idea that it's time for you to waste money on buying stock? is this "hedge fund manager?" and you can not sell your own stock...people can only choose to buy it. You're able to sell stock you've already purchased...so if you're asking how much stock can you sell...well let's see motherfucker...how much stock do you own? oh really that much eh? well i suppose i will allow you to sell half that much today...no no...one third. In two days time you may sell a bit more...but not too much, as you've shown that you have zero ability to manage and thus make your own decisions i will be the one to tell you what to do and when to do it...and well i guess i may as well tell you HOW to do it too...ready for your bottle? need your nose wiped? why don't i chew your food for you and spit it down your fucking throat you MINDLESS FUCKING BITCH.
Q5: "What is AM Trusted?"
A5: You want free fuel, free pax points, free aircraft, unlimited routes and money? Do you want the undying devotion of your staff to work for free and always be happy? would you like your routes to automatically launch on their own? do you want to have stock tips for company's on the rise? what about a 2nd hub? cake? ice cream? a new car? fresh bread? a puppy? do you want a MOTHER FUCKING PUPPY? well go get am trusted and see how much of the above you're rewarded with.
Q6: "Can one player give/loan money to another?"
A6: So...are you the one that can't properly manage money or is it the "i have a friend" excuse...where you refer to yourself as a "friend" to avoid the most naive of people from discovering that you're actually referring to yourself. You start off in this game with money and a free aircraft...the odds are in YOUR favor to increase that amount...you however fail to do so and rather than understand why you fail...you want someone to 'bail you out" you must have graduated from the "american school of business management" you run your company into the ground...and then you panhandle looking for freebies...oh wait you are gracious enough to offer to take a "loan" like you've got the fucking credibility to secure a loan...only a complete and total moron would give/loan you money...but you're in luck there are plenty of those here...the only problem is THEY DON'T HAVE ANY FUCKING MONEY EITHER! so NO thankfully it is impossible for one player to give away money...the dev despises the enabling of idiots.
Q7: "Can I sell/give/trade fuel?"
A7:WHAT? do you have "magic fuel" ? is your fuel in anyway superior to the fuel offered by the market? are you going to sell your fuel at a discount? Are you just so wealthy that you're looking for an odd and creative outlet to blow your millions? You're probably the same type that believes this game needs to be more realistic...well in this aspect...by NOT allowing players to give away fuel is an attempt at being just that.
Q8: "Can I trade aircraft with my friend?"
A8: Who the fuck wants your leftovers? I mean honestly trading your "used up" aircraft to your friend because why...he's got a new aircraft he just bought that for whatever reason you can't just go and buy yourself? did they put a global game limit on the amount of 747s that can be out at any one time? I didn't think so, there couldn't possibly be a logical reason why this even resembles a good idea...anything one player has another player is capable of getting at one point. I guess you also want to be able to trade fuel and make alliances too right fuckface? yeah i thought so.
Q9: "How can I start all my flights at once?"
A9: Why? What's your hurry? what life do you have to get back to? You're playing a fucking game that by it's very design is supposed to "kill time" Why stop at launching all at once...why not just have the game play itself and you can check in from time to time to see how things are...yeah that's a great idea. So is smacking you in the face but just like the "launch all flights" button...it won't fucking happen, ever
Q10: "What aircraft should I buy?"
A10: Do you really need another one? i mean you started with one what could you possibly need another aircraft for? Oh...i see you already have a fleet of 213 aircraft...how did you ever decide before? or did you post this question 212 previous times...you lazy fucking asshole...can't you decide to do anything for yourself? tell me...do you decide to wipe your ass after you shit? or do you ask everyone around you what to do next. If you've already bought an aircraft before...then you should already know HOW to reach a decision on what to buy next, if you've never bought an aircraft before...then it's obvious you've yet to attain enough experience in this game to properly handle this type of a decision...so it's best to wait until you fully understand.
Q11: "I just bought ___ and the money is gone but i don't have ___ give me a refund"
A11: Do you have the original copy of your receipt? After every purchase an ingame email is sent to your inbox detailing your order. If you don't at least have your order number then you're just Shit out of Fucking Luck...it's best not to pay for aircraft with a suitcase full of cash...you should look into aircraft leasing or a finance plan.
Q12: "I have the max of 10 aircraft/routes what do i do now?"
A12: Nothing dumbfuck... Game Over...you beat the game...you just won the internet. Now go back to watching the world pass you by.
Q13: "Can aircraft crash"
A13: yep...and they can take off...land...stop...taxi...turn...bank...roll...loop...flip...and in some cases float...but most cases sink.
Q14: "I have one less route than i do aircraft where did it go?"
A14: Never heard of vacation? Maybe it's lost...have you tried to radio the cockpit? did it make an unscheduled stop? are you sure you actually even have a missing route? go look out the window...is it still sitting at the gate? did you launch it...are you sure you launched it...go check...now check again. close the game...spin in your chair 6 times and log back in...
Q15: "Why isn't cargo free?"
A15: Any reason given to explain why...would not be sufficient. You're the type that has a "false sense of entitlement" everything should not only be "instantaneous" but it should also be "without cost" you have no concern for anyone or anything except yourself. Further...just so you know, you are not owed any actual explanation...yeah i know it's such a foreign concept to you...but it's true...though you feel as though an explanation is owed to you...it's one of just so many issues that you're gravely mistaken about. In plain English...fuck you...fuck your feelings...you mean nothing to no one...your agreement with cargo being a "pay for option" is not required nor desired. No one cares that YOU think it should be free...the "powers that be" obviously thought otherwise.
Q16: "Changing/adding ______ would make this game more realistic you should do this to make it better"
A16: does this game no longer entertain you as it is? then quit...no one's forcing you to play and i honestly don't believe anyone expects you to play in spite of your disdain for the game in it's current form...you're under no contractual obligation to continue your efforts and you're free to stop playing at anytime...i stopped months ago and i'm still breathing and still quite happy...maybe quitting would do you some good...allow you to know that the world outside your grandma's basement exists. Although maybe you should instead build your own "realistic" airline game and see just how many people like your vision of what "fun" is.
Q17: " I created a 10km route, why does it take an HOUR?"
A17: How long are you expecting it to take? if you think you can fly that route faster than fire your fucking pilots and do it your damn self...you know the saying "if you want something done right..." What i find even more disturbing than the flight time...is that you've got the availability to launch flights so frequently...that an "hour" long route takes up too much time...that's scary...i actually pity you...no that's a lie, i have no pity for the stupid.
Q18: "my staff are earning ____ which is so unrealistic fix this please to make it affordable"
A18:good for them...they work for a company that has a "pushover" for a boss...they "whine" for a bit and you give in...but rather than read the boards on how to deal with staff...you thought you could fix it yourself...assuming you're right is a dangerous decision. Now you're paying the price for your assumption (literally) don't you feel stupid...all of this could have been avoided if you'd just done a little light reading...or at least planned ahead, the game obviously has you out of your depth...if you thought this would be "hard like farmville" you're sadly mistaken. But cheer up there are 9 year olds that are playing this game superbly.
Q19a/b: "How do i add a stop to a route?" "where is the "auto launch" button?"
A19 a/b: put simply...you don't add a stop...no one in AM likes them, the international coalition for commercial airlines agreed that all flights would be "nonstop" perhaps if you'd attended a meeting you could have voted otherwise. The "auto launch" button it's located on the "fuck you" tab which is on the settings page under "advanced" this is also where you set your price for fuel and tickets, where you schedule the times you want to buy advertising automatically...oh wait...like you...i was dreaming none of that shit exists...this is a game designed for interaction...not delegation and automation.
Q20: "my favorite aircraft that my dad flies isn't listed how can this be added so he'll be proud of me?"
A20: We are well aware of your sentimental ties to said aircraft...and due to this strong emotional bond we intentionally omitted said aircraft from the catalog. We enjoy keeping that which you desire most from ever being attained and will periodically dangle the possibility of it being added, however please know that the moment you quit the game this aircraft will be made available at no cost, further this aircraft will come without any instrumentation or engines and be impossible to assign to any route. This aircraft will offer shelter to hundreds of birds and rodents, and will be a monument to the short comings in aviation history. Thank you for your interest in this aircraft and we look forward to inviting the homeless from around the world to come and not only explore but also defecate in the hull.
Q21a/b: "Why do all routes cross the Atlantic...that's not realistic!" and "this city is listed but in the wrong place...please move it"
A21a/b: Simply to beg the question "why" you see there was an awesom 3D interactive map that uses google earth as it's base...aircraft icons with their routes were superimposed on this awesome map and moved in real time...further there was a "game map" that showed the routes and aircraft of every player in the game...zooming in close enough allowed you the player to see inside the window at the various passengers. Each aircraft was expertly recreated in wonderful 3d high definition. AM Trusted players were able to assume command of any aircraft at any point and actually FLY! however, after careful consideration the developer thought it would be better to simply use a still image with white lines for the routes and round dots for the aircraft...no one needs all that fancy shit...this is an airline MANAGER game and in REAL LIFE airline managers can't do all of the above...they have a simple little 2d map with lines and dots...and are not concerned with seeing anything in 3d or real time.
Q22: "How do i do a c check"
A22: Before doing a "c check" the airline manager must first approve the "a and b" checks as well...then you click on the maintenance tab and click on the wrench icon as fast as you can before time expires, doing so you earn a pax point bonus and free beer...letting time expire you lose the aircraft and your entire maintenance department is executed. thankfully c checks are optional and can be avoided
Q23: "Which engine should I choose?"
A23: You don't choose the fucking engine...the engine chooses you.
Q24: "Which jet is the business jet? I bought them all and still no achievement!"
A24: The achievement is awarded to those that are nominated for it...you can go buy a business jet, but that doesn't mean you get the achievement. The biz jet achievement is a status symbol held by those only in the highest regard...it's an elite group of players that have displayed some unique characteristic and are rewarded with this most coveted badge. Not just anyone with enough pax points can get the achievement...the achievement has absolutely nothing to do with the purchase of an aircraft from the pax bonus page...none
Q25: "Should I start over?"
A25:Oh ye of little faith...asking this question is just begging for an answer to the affirmative. But i answer "no" you shouldn't...you should just fucking quit...spare the community the embarrassment of repeating failure and go back to cafe world. so just stop playing...don't restart...don't continue...don't believe you can do better the next time around. Stop while you're behind...restarting will not get you out of the hole of despair you're currently in.

The following questions have been asked...but since there was not possible way to answer them with anything helpful i held them for use on the blog rather than try and "pussyfoot" around on the boards.

"What is TOS...and why was my last fucking post deleted?"
TOS...the acronym used more often on the boards than "LOL" means "Terms of Service" this is the long list of "no nos" that has been created by the developer as the "law of the land" their enforcement is the unfortunate job of the moderators...Interpretation of this "do not do list" is key to the continuation of my fun on the boards. As long as i'm able to successfully understand the intent and meaning of this list...i will continue to avoid violation of the ToS...some people are not able to properly comprehend the meanings...and inject their bias opinion of them...well as much as WKA "blesses their little cotton socks" these fucks don't have a prayer...they lose everytime...either to me...or to the "post removal" button.

Being new has nothing to do with it...there are plenty of new players that any of my interaction with them could not be interpreted as "mean/horrible" pang is one of them that i'm aware that still plays...there are others vadoy, tell, others (you know who you are) as with many things in this game and life defining "mean" or "horrible" is relative...i personally do not believe i've ever been mean in my entire time on this board...i also believe that there isn't a person out there that just read that statement believes it either. On the boards i say things nearly exactly how i think them...although i do have to be a bit creative when "things heat up" but the message conveyed is clear...i have always believed in "effective communication" making clear concise points is paramount. However all of that said, there are players that are "new" that make it rather easy for me to make targets out of...it's no secret that i "hunt stupid" and while i can not eradicate the idiots from the world...i will make all efforts to do so from this game (the endless battle that keeps me here :P )
Finally the "fuel" comment...it's not a question that pops up...no it's a "statement of abundant obviousness"

authoring posts such as this...is not only unnecessary but annoying. There is not one player in this game that isn't able to know the EXACT price of fuel at any given moment at just the click of a mouse...none...and most every player has the ability to "predict" when fuel will be a certain price...the mystery of this game is GONE...and has been for a long time. Every possible exploit/strategy/hint has been given...the wealth of knowledge has been dispensed and is "on tap" for anyone looking to "fill a glass" but making a post about the current price of fuel is only relevant for ONE HOUR...ONE...that's it! It in no way is any measure of contribution to the cause of "helping others" anyone who relies on others to post the current price of fuel should be taken out back and fucking shot...no...ammunition is expensive...strangled...yes...no...better yet they should be forced to strangle themselves (it has yet to be proven that "stupidity" isn't contagious) I'm not entirely sure why these posts continue but i'm certain that it's the reason why we have 3 moderators...it has to be the most deleted post.

The Laugh
A weekend at work...why i have to be here to "watch" server upgrade progress...i ask myself that question...the only answer i can give while remaining completely honest is "to maintain the appearance of dedication" anyway...that being said i give you the Sunday Special Report
I've titled this "the laugh" because let's face it...if we didn't laugh at this shit we would sure as hell be crying...it's pathetic, is there a word that conveys a more severe definition of "pathetic". I don't know...i suppose that, like so many other things, is subjective.
Follow along because i'm about to just ramble, and i have no idea exactly how many (if any) points i will make...i'm going to estimate one...with an accuracy of +/- 1.
NEW PLAYERS...where in the fuck are they coming from? is Sig advertising somewhere? did he buy a national campaign of billboards and newspapers? New players...i have a love/hate for them, i mean i'm glad they're here, i just hate that they forgot their fucking brain or their ability to read and comprehend. However, the audacity of some of these new players is really rather refreshing, though it's short lived. I suppose i can't expect the stamina of morons from the days of old, proof that the golden age of AM has passed....however hopeful i am that another should dawn before my passing, rest assured i'm not holding my breath.

Quite the demanding little fuck...on day 2 of his airline managing career the little bitch proposes a "free cargo option" really dumbfuck? you want free cargo? what a selfish request...not giving one fucking thought as to why it's a "pay for " option in the first fucking place? Next time you're in need of some petrol why not roll up and say to the attendant "yeah i'd like the free fuel option" or call your mobile phone provider and ask to switch to the "free usage option" afterall mum says you're special...you should be treated as such...you bloody fucking punk pussy bitch ass prick. You have no clue and why should you...you've lived a sheltered life in the cellar for the past 37 years. You act as if you're owed something...everything really. Understand it's not that i don't like you, i just hate everything you stand for...if you stand for anything more than laziness and stupidity I would be utterly amazed and yet completely disappointed that you have failed up unto this point to reveal those additional pillars of character...because as i've said you've only shown two...and they're both crumbling. You then created an additional thread soliciting your "art skills" (great a fucking artTEEST) by offering to create a logo for anyone...where this selfless offer came from i have no idea...oh wait...yeah i do, you're under the deluded notion that you're capable of creating a logo that is actually worth giving to someone else...save it kid, go back to making greeting cards and refrigerator art with your crayons and construction paper...i'm sure mommy still enjoys them (she's lying of course)
Polypropylene or whatever...you're player #12,447 to request a larger map...why you need a larger map i've yet to figure out...do you enjoy the virtual sense of pride and false sense of accomplishment you glean by looking at your route map with all of those little white lines going to and fro? you fucking must...I was the only person that actually offered a solution to your "problem" and you tell me that it wouldn't help? and you're basing this on your firm grasp of proportion and ratio right? first of all let me say this..."fuck you" i'd repeat it...but suffice to say i'll just say you need to read it again...slowly and with conviction. Your response was lacking in both relevance and entertainment...i mean honestly did you believe what you posted or was it the "best you could do" well sir if that's your best...consider this your notice that there is ample room for improvement.

Some have surmised that you're not new to the game...as if to suggest you've been on the boards before, confirm? or deny? either way it doesn't matter. Your "legitimate" question regarding the addition of more useless aircraft has effectively been answered many times before, perhaps not about the specific aircraft, but enough have requested similarly pointless aircraft that you should have been able to gather that...it's not going to happen. Though i do remember the "vomit commit" being requested before...not that i care to know what the fuck that is...i can't see it being added since it will add nothing new to the game. Your belief that your question was legitimate is noted...however i feel as though it's my duty to inform you that your question was ignored because it was stupid...not ignored by me...ignoring someone is rude, and i may be a lot of things, but i'm not rude. You were given more attention than i feel most believe you deserved...and it was free, far more than the "2 cents worth" you've received in your life...in fact i'd say the financial worth of that attention is damn near a dollar...a whole dollar...i'll specify and say a Canadian dollar. We could speculate on why various aircraft are in the game...and others aren't however it really comes down to one person deciding what should and should not exist in the AM world...and that person isn't you...or me for that matter. I suppose you'll just have to deal with this game's short comings when it comes to the meager offerings of the current aircraft model catalog.

and the dev saw this and it was good...wonderful...two people two different timezones...to patrol enforce and encourage compliance from a board community that...for lack of a better word was dying. Shit happens ebb and flow right? so now there are two wipers wiping shit from the boards...only this time with a bit more finesse and accuracy...being able to remove specific posts...rather than obliterate entire topics...and the dev saw this and it was good.
a few weeks later...for whatever fucked up reason (man these ewes are falling from the sky) a third shit wiper is created...why? who knows...can't be work load...shit's not work...it's stressing...it's annoying...it's dirty (hey it's shit what do you expect) but for whatever reason 3 wipers for one ass is deemed required...Hopefully we can tag them as "moderator omega" because i swear if someone pops up and says "hey i'm the secret mod" i'm going to shit enough bricks to build a fucking house. they won't be the 3 ass wipers and nose blowers anymore...we can call them the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse because that will be the end of the boards. but no to all you fucks who aren't a fan of me...i still wouldn't quit i'll be here even then to reign down hell on the heads of the stupid lazy e-tards who have the nerve to spew the shit that has to be wiped...which reminds me i have a point...and now it's time to make it sharp.

So these snot nosed little kids who wanna play a "big boy" game should know why it's a "big boy" game in the first place...me and not because of the foul language...i and others have proven all too well that i don't need my "four lettered friends" to make a point, or to take said point and shove it up the ass or down the throat of anyone that i deem fit for the receiving of said point. However, those little words are fun to use and make it so i don't have to use 8 words to make the same impact as just the one. however the combination of those 8 words and 1 4 letter word does make for a rather spectacular response.

Yet another faceless victim of an account hacker...really? that's the best excuse for being a "keyboard retard" you can come up with? Why would anyone care enough about you and your public internet image to spend the 5 minutes it takes to hack a facebook account? Hmm I know i use this phrase a lot but it seems to be applicable to nearly every single half witted twit that's allowed un-monitored internet access...oh the phrase? "delusions of grandeur" This egg head pretender may actually believe that he's worth ruining...and to take it a step further actually believes that the "internet reputation" one builds is actually worth something...fuck you no it's not. No one in your reality cares what others online think of you...it's not on any school entrance questionnaire, it's not on your next final exam...it's not going to be asked of you during the interview of your first second or 37th job interview...it doesn't matter. You should have really put that "big brain" of yours to work and thought of a better more plausible reason that you decided to spill your life all over the web, that isn't the way you garnish positive attention...it is however an awesome way of making a complete and total fool fo yourself.
Another amusing act on your part...is that you sent a private message to Chad (pang) and while i'm not able to know at what time you sent it...it at least after my first post...and probably after my second.
In the above screenshot is your exact message to pangloss...in that message note where you claim you hadn't been on facebook or AM since 8pm the previous day...which according to the timeline means your account was hacked sometime after 8pm on the 4th (3rd for me) the hacker then waited about 10 hours to then make their way to the am forums and start spewing a load of hilarious nonsense?...and then 6 hours later you some how managed to "re hack" your own account and send Chad a message that your account was hacked? WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE? you expect everyone including myself to honestly believe that you allowed your account to be hacked (i thought you were smarter than that) and then you're smart enough to hack back your own account? sorry sport you're not that good...you couldn't hack your way out of a cafeteria serving penne ala arabiatta with a titanium tray (don't strain yourself kid you're not supposed to grasp that one)
First of all people who hack accounts do it for the glory of announcing the defeat of the one that was hacked...it's very public and it's very obvious...targets of account hacks are rarely if ever able to get their accounts back usually those accounts are locked and banned. AM accounts worth hacking...none, however if you were to make a list of the most likely targets...authority figures are always the first on the list...at least they would be for me.
so first would be the account "developer"
then "administrator"
then the board mods
then you've got to categorize the seasoned players...which that would be an order of preference decided by the one doing the...wait...i should clarify something accounts aren't HACKED that's a misnomer...accounts are cracked by crackers...not hackers. but that's another subject
anyway point being...you would NEVER appear on any list of any cracker at all unless that cracker happens to be a girlfriend/ex girlfriend and even still like i said you wouldn't get your account back.
moving on further down the message you talk about how you have 3 misspellings and yada yada and how this and that isn't true and how this game doesn't prepare you for the business world...but what i found most annoying

You Have Options
So cargo launched yesterday...for some...today for others...and from now on a few more....why not all at once? Simple...the new game addition isn't "free" Not that I take any credit for the "price" or even the idea of charging pax points...but I did suggest it last year, back when cargo was a myth. I even suggested it be at a "10 dollar" price point...which coincidentally is how much 2k pax points costs (unless you're a moron and became am trusted...who's laughing now you fucksticks?)

Vent...The Re-Up
It just isn't ever e-fucking-nough is it? 800 thread pages and if the duplicates were removed the amount that remained would be so small and insignificant we would have to fire 2 of the mods.
What the fuck is wrong with...wait don't bother I already know the answer. These fucking people are lazy...who you ask? The new ass lazy cocksucking cunts that only know how to ramble and babble in the "new topic field" but have no fucking clue about the news section the front page overview that shows the CURRENT FUCKING FUEL PRICE...along with other pertinent game stats like...their transaction history. Here's a clue skippy as a rule the RED BARS AND NUMBERS ARE BAD for your stock...the GREEN BARS AND NUMBERS ARE GOOD for your stock...the exception the purchase of a fucking plane...it needs to be another fucking color or it should be recoded to show as green as it helps you...but i vote another color...orange maybe yeah orange will work...i don't think i'd mind seeing questions about the "orange numbers" especially if it were to be clearly explained in the news section prior to it's implementation...obviously i'm just kidding...as there are no stupid questions...only stupid people.
All this talk of cargo...well "whoop di do" finally the questions and topics will switch from the theme of "when" to the theme of "how" and then of course the logical transition to "why" followed closely by the bitching and moaning of all the short comings that the new feature is perceived to have. All of these whackjobs crying about how some mid ranged aircraft isn't present because of how "crucial" it was to the aviation industry back in whatever fucking decade they believe was a pivotal point in time...honestly if it can't make more...be faster...carry more...go further...than aircraft already REPRESENTED then why fucking bother? are you really going to cheat yourself out of what amounts to MORE MONEY because you want to see a LIST of the same aircraft that are all represented by the same photograph? yes we all know the wright flyer played a huge role in the history of flight...but is it necessary to have the option of making a fleet of them? Just how easy it is to play, I hate the fame but love the game, cold as ice I remain. All the critics do is complain, so Fuck em' all, tell'em all eat shit, here we go again.

I had thought my "number 1 toy" was going to be "dellu 2" but no Golden Swan has proven himself incapable of lasting...sad i had high hopes for him...but the surprise the shock the amazement of the underdog in this rat race...yuvidev...yuvidev is proving to be QUITE the bit of entertainment...i feel energized from his vigor...it's amazing just what the "young fighting spirit" can do...it's infectious...hopefully he has the staying power to match his potential intensity...as he may yet be even MORE fun than he has been so far.

i do plan to make the most of his presence while he's still around...so no tray...no chainsaw...just a spoon

Lock and Load
'Tis the season of giving...and the boards have been no exception. I must have been good this year because the forums have added a few new people...and while they are equally deserve focus...for now I'd like to focus on just one...the golden goos--er bird...oh swan...whatever.
I've recently learned that GSA has been reading the boards for...almost a week...now at first I was rather impressed with that...but then I considered the source...and I'm now less than thrilled. Mainly it hinges on his definition of "almost" for me almost means more than 75% his percentage could quite possibly be far less...hell it could be just 2 days worth of reading...no not 2 full days...not even a combined amount equal to 24 hours...if his reading time is more than 4 hours worth I'd be shocked...i mean honestly...the forums are fun but it's not a book i'd read (no pictures) So anyway this GSA character wants to give the impression that he's now an expert on all things pertaining to the forum...and he's learned that people like to insult others for no apparent reason...his words not mine...i do however commend his use of the word "apparent". I briefly touched on this thought he had on the forums...and now like then...what really irritates me is that after all of his "reading" he still has no idea why some people have an issue with others that post stupid shit...personally i'm prejudice against "stupid" i have absolutely no tolerance for it...I have it listed as a "known allergy" in my medical records. In fact, if there isn't a bumper sticker that reads "stupid kills" consider that for your next million dollar idea. I hate stupid...but what's worse...is people who defend the stupid (although i could go off on a political rant...i will resist) GSA do you have the "hero's disease" ya know...the uncontrollable drive to put yourself between an idiot and a speeding train...the unexplainable urge to take a bullet for a moron? (family excluded even i'd take a flesh wound for a stupid cousin) Please don't misunderstand me...I'm enjoying your infestation on the boards...keep it up and you could actually make "the list" not many do...but you'd think with the amount of attempts so many make that making "the list" was a "good" thing...well "good" is relative...what's good for the goose is good for the gand--swan right? right.
I wonder with all of this "in depth reading" that GSA has managed to do...why is it he's choosing to fail at this game that is designed to be nearly impossible to do so? after a week of playing his stock is still at 7 cents and still going down? Now i'm not suggesting he play "my way" or "your way" or any other way but his own...however even a half wit knows that when you're fucking up...change your process. I'm sure i will revisit this topic or make a new one should GSA continue to play...but he's been here "almost a week" so i don't have much to work with...however i just noticed codio has asked a question of "why" muahahahahahhhaa

Many times I've said out loud "what the fuck?" with the utmost sincerity while reading various board topics. While I honestly believed I knew the true meaning of that question...this fucktard comes along and redefines stupid. There are many levels of stupid...the deepest most pure level being "incoherently stupid" meaning...he has no fucking idea that he is...sad really...if i didn't know any better i would swear this fucker is giving his best efforts at being so. Every explanation and answer I offer is completely and totally reversed to the opposite. He claims i was given something in addition...my continued and constant response is...i was returned what was mine.
Anyway, what I fail to understand is his incessant use of single letters as words mainly the letter "y" but that pales in comparison to his passionate misunderstanding of the entire situation for which he's so convinced he's correct about...while it's obvious he can read...it's equally obvious that he lacks the ability to fully understand what he's read. Should he be held responsible for his words even though he has no idea how to use them? There are dozens of airlines with less aircraft and a higher stock value...and yet here you are flaunting not even a modicum of advice that is nothing more than a date and price for fuel...which in the grand scheme (not even the grand scheme any ole scheme will do) of things has a value of absolute zero...if a player happens to be around during that 200 dollar price time...great they've saved half of what they would have should they be around when it's 400...please note that should you not have a strong grasp of comprehension...the key to the two statements i just made are...the players must be online...if this was your greatest attempt at contributing any assistance at all to anyone that plays this game...you've failed...you have failed in the most pitiful of ways.

Communication Information Clarification
As many of you---wait if you're reading this and you've read anything here before in the past couple of weeks then ALL of you know...and not just many of you...anyway as you know (hah i could have just said that couldn't i?) my current game has issues (a subscription of them so it seems) and while the status hasn't changed/improved/worsened I am finally certain that the developer knows what's going on...officially. Of which i feel it only fair that now having talked at length with him i need to point out that my opinion of him "not caring" about the issues in the game was not a fair assessment of the situation...and while i may have felt that way before...after having the conversation end on a "good note" i know that isn't the case. I've been assured that my game will be "looked into" and "resolved" in what way i have no idea...but i'm sure something will come of it. That's all for now...it seems there's some reading to do on the forum...which i'm sure will spawn a second post for the day.

On Strike
Well it's late...or early whatever it's fucking 1am
Let's get something out of the way...i'm no longer the moderator for the boards...i had a choice...i can be "me" or i can be a moderator...modding wasn't ever any fun...being a "finger shaker" is what the dev wants...oh wait for those that don't know what that is it's when you shake your finger pointing at someone while saying "no no no" what i mean is...it's pointless...besides i've said it before why the fuck do i want people to stop...if they do i've got nothing to say...and you know me i've always got something to say...and if i don't i blabber on until i think of something...like now...not actually i'm actually giddy with words. so i'll get to it.
TWO WEEKS! ok maybe it hasn't been two full weeks since i've had aircraft flying...but it "feels" like it has been...and it's something that i accept...and if it's fixed i haven't heard no calls no emails no messages nothing...ah well fuck it...even if it is fixed i wont play and i'm certainly not going to pay...fuck it fuck the game fuck the dev fuck the beta fuck cargo...but not the forum...that's the only thing that has always been glitch free...the only actual source of fun. So that's my point...my game is on strike but it's open season in the forum.
See i've read the thread from Rawling on the private contest...and frankly it seems like an awesome idea...one that i'd be onboard for if i gave shit...about the game. But i've run this race twice...the second time was better than the first...but a third...under the current conditions...with unexplainable glitching and incessant bitching? nah i'm good in "all ahead stop" mode. besides did you see my badge page? do i really want to do THAT again? no...and if i did restart i'd have to do it again...and i honestly don't want to.
This was going to go on the forum...but the game is down for maintenance (read as more shit breaking) so i'm putting it here...i can see this getting a lot more postings a lot more frequently...in the coming days/weeks i plan to discuss a few things about the game's workings...and that guide i'm working on...yeah it's going here not the boards.
oh and for those that posted about my game situation...thank you for the concern but it's just a fucking game...one i'm proving to be doing just fine without :P

In Summary: WHAT THE FUCK!
Yeah I've been quite quiet...I could use the legitimate excuse of work...and most anyone would understand but that isn't the case...well it is but I have always made time for this game and the people in it. I could talk about all the hard work that's being put in to the continuation of this game...and I could be right about it...but to say that would be a complete and total assumption. For the past 2 weeks I have no idea what the hell is going on...only that whatever is or isn't has completely and totally fucked my "hard work" up...what do i mean you ask? Oh well I'll be happy to share since I'm so done with this cloak and dagger bullshit of what can and can't be shared and what will and won't be fixed.
Just over 2 weeks ago in the name of "troubleshooting" I sold my parked aircraft all 2000 concordes and 220 Tu Concorde clones...along with the extra 188 a380s. Taking my fleet down to 503 aircraft 501 flying a380s one a318 and one 737bbj. All went as planned the staff were reduced by the correct amount I received the exact amount of money due...all was awesome and good in the world.
Phase 2 Fire all excess staff and sell all 501 a380s...as some of you know you can't fire all of your staff because of 1 of 2 reasons 1: your remaining staff will strike before you reach zero preventing you from doing so...or that bug that just says "fuck you no you can't fire anymore" ok it doesn't actually say that but you know what i'm talking about...and if you don't take my word for it.
Phase 3 rebuy aircraft...and this is where the proverbial shit hits the fan...please note before i started to repurchase I had 1.6trillion in the bank waiting to be spent...I buy 10 a380s and then i buy 10 more 10 more 10 more...and so on until i'd purchased 100...the money displayed was dropping by the correct amounts my staff was rising by the correct amounts...all was good right?...(this is where you nod and say "yep") forgetting what number i was on i click my fleet page...and there they are 100 a380s and 1 each of the previously listed. finding my number i return to buy 401 more...doing so I go to set my routes...what's this i need to buy a plane first?...i have 503 total aircraft each one with a fully trained crew that is paid by the day to sit there...i have aircraft...plenty of aircraft...
Alas the game refused to agree...so what do i do...wait and see if it changes after maintenance? sell them all off and try it again?...nah i'll wait it's a maint issue it will get worked out...i mean this was all to find a bug right? guess i found one right?...so maintenance comes and goes...i get to work...do some shit and say hey let's go set some routes and make some money....i log into the game...read my mail (thank you again to my understanding investors that had no issue with going from a 16k stock value to a 9k stock value) and then check my fleet...fleet "2" routes "0" wait what the hell? 2 i just bought 501 a380s yesterday...my account reflects that...so i said fuck it...i'll just go buy 100 more and take it up with the dev later...i buy 100 a380s check my fleet page...no new aircraft still just the same 2..."oh well this is just some perfect bullshit" i say to myself...actually it was outloud thankfully i'm always saying that so no one decided to ask what the issue was...i don't need to explain that i'd wasted billions on planes that don't exist.
So i put all of this in an email and send it off...keeping my personal opinion and view out of it (yeah i'm just that fucking capable) and i wait...and wait...and wait. nothing no fix no resolution...nothing changes...well the next day i catch dev online and bend his ear about it...then we get to talking about the other bugs and issues...and how basically whatever glitches are left will have to work themselves out...i said "hmmm while i can appreciate and understand that stance...i have a small issue regarding my game...in summary i'm not able to play" and that was all that was said.
So as of now I don't play AIRLINE manager I play just "manager" I have 1100ish employees most of which are on strike I still have 750ish billion in cash (mostly small bills 5's and 20's) that I and my employees roll around in...I have 2 aircraft that I drag race on weekends....so far the a318 is winning in the quarter mile. Testing for cargo is over...or at least for me it's been taken down off the beta server...so either that means it's complete or it's been pushed back again...just felt like i needed to vent and after all this is the fucking place i created to do so...only this time i'm not ripping on other players but the game itself...oh and if you are looking for me...i'm ruling the trivia room.

Dropping Like Flies
I've noticed on the forums a few people...no...i'll rephrase QUITE a few people have given their "resignation". I can't blame them...but no...I'm not one of them either. I haven't quit. I've been quite occupied with other aspects of the game that the "free time" I usually have reserved for "play time" has been redirected to more "useful" though "less fun" activities. I have noticed an "uptick" in new players but I don't know that I've seen an "uptick" in board activity...rest assured when cargo is released there will be much to discuss.

Of all the people that have expressed their dislike for me...EK is the most recent...unless he's done it before...of which I would have to say it wasn't memorable...so this is either his first time...or the first time I noticed.

Labeling me a cheater...well that is certainly one way to garnish some attention. If that's your label of choice...I've got one for you...starts with an "L" and ends in an "R" and no it isn't "Loser" though from your actions and statements I'm sure that one could apply equally as well...no-no...the word I'm referencing is "Liar" My account with the game falls under more scrutiny than any other. So if I'm a cheater...you're a cheater too..and don't you dare say it isn't true...well you can...but you'd have to prove it...on second thought allegations seem to be enough proof according to you. What's the matter EK why don't you like me? You want to "throw dirt on my name" why because it's easy? Is it fun for you? good...it's fun for me too...it allows me to take your bullshit...spin it...and use it to my advantage. I seem to be your target...you've only got one shot...you took it...you missed...and now I get to add your name to the list...those who have come before you...you're all equally special...but you won't be the last to take "cheap shots" at my ass...are you just bored or stupid? Well c'mon bitch you've got my attention...don't grow a set of morals and make an attempt to be the "better man" it doesn't get better it's only getting worse...you've added fuel to the fire. Who you think you are means nothing...are you looking for fame? can you taste it? it's just a game...you've taken it way too serious. So in light of all of this I have a question...it's something I just don't understand...why are you being so mean? I mean attempt...you attempt to be a really mean mean man...is it jealousy...envy...? are you just so jealous of me? am I what you want to be? I don't see why...you appear capable...not like i do anything so special or unique that anyone else couldn't do...yes even you...but why won't you admit it...you just look like an idiot when you try to say mean things about me. The way you act YOU'RE the liar if you say you don't wanna be just like me...imitation is the highest form of flattery...i tend to disagree...the best kind of flattery comes from someone on both knees...but you're done you can get up...there may be some things you're good at...but i highly doubt that's one of them...
speaking of "them" you've got a lot more in common with "them" perhaps you should remain on their side of things...do things their way...and follow their advice...abstain from postings to which you don't agree...you only make it worse for yourself and better for me...and while i have enjoyed our time together i don't think you've "got the grapes" to maintain and remain...you see this is fun for me...and unless you're of the same mind (which i'm sure you wouldn't admit) it isn't fun for you...it could possibly even be a gut wrenching experience...I hope not...since you mentioned this blog...you must have visited it...and if so...I do sincerely wish you to respond...here or elsewhere..so this is my message I'm sending you...I hope you get it...and give it back to me as good or even better then I've done so far...I'm patiently waiting for the day that someone will.

Putting the Lazy on Blast
Who are you exactly? The nameless faceless useless free loading players? The ones who have less than 5 flights been playing less than 5 nights who actually believe they're entitled to the right not only expect complete and total disclosure but to demand it? who the fuck are you? where do you get off? you must be between the ages of 12 and 22...between the heights of 4'1 and 5'2 you may be pissed at me but i'm sure as shit having fun with you. I've noticed that from time to time it's more fun to type in rhyme. I just can't understand what would posses anyone to demand that a player take the time to post the times of when fuel hits 50 and also when it hits 200? This shit has me wondering if you're mentally retarded or just unstable...either way the only remedy that comes to mind is to issue a good ole' fashion passionate ass kicking...and while you probably deserve it physically verbally will have to do...i know i know people say it all the time to me "i'm old" and "they're new" I couldn't give a fuck less if they're new (and i know i can't give a single fuck less i've got no more to give) but when I WAS new...there was no such thing as a search function...sticky topics didn't exist there wasn't an evil moderator named jeff vader and the stock price of the top 10 of all time was less than a thousand dollars.

I'm here to piss you off...and remember it's better to be pissed off than pissed on...and no matter how much a broke ass bitch you are...you can always afford to pay attention.
